Job Summary
Leading a high-performing team of frontend engineers, the full-time Engineering Manager, Frontend Development will drive the strategy for Zocdoc's design system and accessible React component library, ensuring a seamless and inclusive experience across web and mobile platforms while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow a team focused on design systems and accessible component libraries
- Own the strategy and roadmap for the design system, driving adoption across product teams
- Establish processes for accessibility in product development across web and mobile surfaces
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong foundation in frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, JavaScript)
- 2+ years of experience leading and inspiring engineering teams
- Experience building or contributing to a design system or shared component library
- Proven track record of developing accessible consumer products on web and mobile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
