Job Summary
Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Engineering Manager, Frontend Development will manage the strategy and roadmap for the design system and accessible React component library, driving frontend and mobile development while ensuring accessibility standards across Zocdoc's platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Leading and growing a team of frontend engineers focused on design systems and accessible component libraries
- Owning the strategy for Zocdoc's design system to ensure it serves as the foundation for product development across teams
- Driving accessibility initiatives and establishing processes for consistent, measurable standards in product development
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong foundation in frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, JavaScript) and mobile development (iOS or Android)
- 2+ years of experience leading and inspiring engineering teams
- Experience building or contributing to a design system or shared component library across multiple product teams
- Proven track record of delivering polished, accessible consumer products on web and mobile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
