Job Summary
Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Engineering Manager, Frontend Development will oversee the strategy and execution of Zocdoc's design system and accessible React component library, enhancing the frontend infrastructure for web and mobile applications.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow a team of frontend engineers focused on design systems and accessible component libraries
- Own the strategy and roadmap for the design system, ensuring it supports feature development across all product teams
- Drive accessibility initiatives across Zocdoc's web and mobile platforms, establishing consistent development standards
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong foundation in frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, JavaScript) and mobile development (iOS or Android)
- 2+ years of experience in leading and inspiring engineering teams
- Proven experience building or contributing to a design system or shared component library
- Demonstrated ability to integrate generative AI tools into engineering workflows
- A Bachelor's degree in CS, Math, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
