Job Summary
Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Engineering Manager, Frontend Development will oversee the strategy and execution of Zocdoc's design system and accessible React component library, driving frontend and mobile development while ensuring accessibility standards are met in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow a team of frontend engineers focused on design systems and accessible component libraries
- Own the roadmap for the design system and component library, ensuring widespread adoption across product teams
- Establish and drive accessibility processes for web and mobile product development
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, JavaScript) and mobile development (iOS or Android)
- 2+ years of leadership experience in managing and inspiring engineering teams
- Experience in building or contributing to a design system or shared component library
- Proven track record of delivering accessible consumer products on web and mobile platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
