Job Summary
Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Engineering Manager, Frontend Development will oversee the design and implementation of Zocdoc's accessible React component library and design system, driving frontend and mobile development while ensuring accessibility standards are met across web and mobile platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Managing and growing a team of frontend engineers focused on design systems and accessible component libraries
- Owning the strategy and roadmap for the design system and component library to enhance feature development across product teams
- Driving accessibility initiatives and establishing consistent processes for accessible product development across the organization
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong foundation in frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, JavaScript) and mobile development
- 2+ years of experience leading and inspiring engineering teams
- Proven experience building or contributing to a design system or shared component library
- History of developing polished, accessible consumer products for web and mobile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
