Job Summary
Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Engineering Manager, Frontend Development will oversee the strategy and execution of Zocdoc's frontend platform and mobile initiatives, focusing on building accessible design systems and component libraries while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Managing and growing a team of frontend engineers to enhance design systems and accessible component libraries
- Owning the roadmap for the design system and ensuring its adoption across all product teams
- Driving accessibility initiatives across web and mobile platforms to establish consistent development standards
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with expertise in frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, JavaScript) and mobile development (iOS or Android)
- 2+ years of experience leading and inspiring engineering teams
- Experience in building or contributing to a design system or shared component library
- Proven track record of delivering polished, accessible consumer products on web and mobile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
