Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Engineering Manager, Frontend Development will manage the strategy and roadmap for Zocdoc's design system and accessible React component library, ensuring efficient and inclusive product development across web and mobile platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the engineering team focused on design systems and accessible component libraries
- Drive the adoption of accessibility standards in product development across all teams
- Collaborate with UX, Product, and Engineering to enhance the frontend platform and mobile tooling
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong foundation in frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, JavaScript)
- 2+ years of experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams
- Proven experience in building or contributing to a design system or shared component library
- Demonstrated history of creating accessible consumer products on web and mobile platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
