Job Summary
Leading a high-performing team of frontend engineers, the full-time Engineering Manager, Frontend Development will own the strategy for Zocdoc's design system and accessible React component library, driving accessibility and improving frontend development across web and mobile platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow a team focused on design systems and accessible component libraries
- Own the roadmap for the design system, ensuring it serves as the foundation for product development
- Drive accessibility initiatives across web and mobile surfaces, establishing consistent development standards
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong foundation in frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, JavaScript) and mobile development
- 2+ years of experience leading and inspiring engineering teams
- Experience building or contributing to a design system or shared component library across multiple teams
- Proven ability to integrate generative AI tools into engineering workflows
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
