Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Engineering Manager, Frontend Development will oversee the engineering efforts for Zocdoc's accessible React component library and design system, driving frontend and mobile development while ensuring accessibility standards are met, all in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow a team of frontend engineers focused on design systems and accessible component libraries
- Own the strategy and roadmap for the design system and React component library, ensuring widespread adoption across product teams
- Establish and implement accessibility processes for web and mobile product development
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong foundation in frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, JavaScript) and mobile development
- 2+ years of experience leading and inspiring engineering teams
- Experience building or contributing to a design system or shared component library
- Proven track record of developing accessible consumer products on web and mobile platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
