Job Summary
Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Engineering Manager, Frontend Development will manage the strategy and roadmap for Zocdoc's design system and accessible React component library, driving accessibility and frontend development across web and mobile platforms in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and grow a team of frontend engineers focused on design systems and accessible component libraries
- Own the strategy for Zocdoc's design system, ensuring it serves as the foundation for feature development across product teams
- Drive accessibility initiatives across web and mobile surfaces, establishing measurable standards for product development
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong foundation in frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, JavaScript) and mobile development (iOS or Android)
- 2+ years of experience in leading and inspiring engineering teams
- Experience building or significantly contributing to a design system or shared component library
- Proven leadership in delivering polished, accessible consumer products on web and mobile
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
