Job Summary
Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Engineering Manager, Frontend Development will oversee the development of an accessible React component library and design system, driving frontend and mobile development while ensuring accessibility standards are met in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Managing and growing a team of frontend engineers focused on design systems and accessible component libraries
- Owning the strategy and roadmap for the design system and component library to ensure widespread adoption across product teams
- Driving accessibility initiatives and establishing processes for consistent, measurable standards in product development
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong foundation in frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, JavaScript) and mobile development (iOS or Android)
- 2+ years of experience leading and inspiring engineering teams
- Proven track record of building or contributing to a design system or shared component library
- Experience in developing polished, accessible consumer products for web and mobile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
