Job Summary
Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Engineering Manager, Frontend Platform will be responsible for overseeing the development of an accessible React component library and design system, driving frontend and mobile development across the organization while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow a team of frontend engineers focused on design systems and accessible component libraries
- Own the strategy and roadmap for the design system, ensuring it is the foundation for feature development across product teams
- Drive the establishment of accessibility as a standard in product development processes across web and mobile platforms
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong foundation in frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, JavaScript) and mobile development (iOS or Android)
- 2+ years of experience leading and inspiring engineering teams
- Experience building or contributing to a design system or shared component library across multiple product teams
- Proven track record of delivering polished, well-tested, accessible consumer products on web and mobile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
