Job Summary
Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Engineering Manager, Frontend Platform will oversee the development of Zocdoc's accessible React component library and design system, driving adoption and enhancing frontend and mobile experiences in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow a team of frontend engineers focused on design systems and accessible component libraries
- Own the strategy and roadmap for the design system, ensuring it serves as the foundation for product development
- Establish and drive accessibility standards across web and mobile platforms, integrating best practices into the development process
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong foundation in frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, JavaScript) and mobile development (iOS or Android)
- 2+ years of experience leading and inspiring engineering teams
- Experience building or significantly contributing to a design system or shared component library
- Proven ability to integrate generative AI tools into engineering workflows
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
