Job Summary
Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Engineering Manager, Frontend Platform will oversee the development of Zocdoc's accessible React component library and design system, driving frontend and mobile development while ensuring a focus on accessibility in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow a team of frontend engineers focused on design systems and accessible component libraries
- Own the strategy and roadmap for the design system, ensuring it serves as the foundation for product development across teams
- Establish and drive accessibility standards across Zocdoc's web and mobile platforms through planning and QA processes
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong foundation in frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, JavaScript) and mobile development
- 2+ years of experience in leading and inspiring engineering teams
- Experience building or contributing to a design system or shared component library
- Proven track record of developing accessible consumer products on web and mobile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
