Job Summary
Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Engineering Manager, Frontend Platform will oversee the development of Zocdoc's accessible React component library and design system, ensuring a seamless and inclusive user experience across web and mobile platforms while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow a team of frontend engineers focused on design systems and accessible component libraries
- Own the strategy and roadmap for Zocdoc's design system, driving adoption across product teams
- Establish and implement accessibility standards for product development across web and mobile surfaces
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with strong frontend technology skills (React, TypeScript, JavaScript) and mobile development experience
- 2+ years of experience leading and inspiring engineering teams
- Experience building or contributing to a design system or shared component library across multiple teams
- Proven track record of developing accessible consumer products on web and mobile platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
