Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Engineering Manager, Frontend Platform will oversee the development of Zocdoc's design system and accessible React component library, ensuring a seamless experience for millions of patients and providers while driving accessibility and platform improvements in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Managing and growing a team of frontend engineers focused on design systems and accessible component libraries
- Owning the strategy and roadmap for the design system and component library, ensuring adoption across product teams
- Driving accessibility initiatives and establishing consistent development processes for web and mobile platforms
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong foundation in frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, JavaScript) and mobile development
- 2+ years of experience leading and inspiring engineering teams
- Experience building or significantly contributing to a design system or shared component library
- Proven track record of developing accessible consumer products on web and mobile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
