Job Summary
Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Engineering Manager, Frontend Platform will manage the development of an accessible React component library and design system, enhancing frontend and mobile experiences in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the strategy and roadmap for the design system and accessible component library, ensuring adoption across product teams
- Drive accessibility initiatives across web and mobile platforms, establishing consistent planning and QA processes
- Mentor and coach engineers, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration within the team
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong foundation in frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, JavaScript) and mobile development (iOS or Android)
- 2+ years of experience leading and inspiring engineering teams
- Experience building or significantly contributing to a design system or shared component library
- Proven track record in developing accessible consumer products on web and mobile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
