Engineering Manager - IAM
Job Summary
Leading a team of Software Engineers, the full-time Engineering Manager - IAM will build and manage the identity and access management foundation for a digital life insurance enrollment experience while working remotely across the United States.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and scalability of the IAM platform to support multi-tenant enterprise customers
- Participate in system design and architecture, ensuring high code quality and operational health
- Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering talent while managing team performance and delivery metrics
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of professional software experience, including 1+ years in a management role with hands-on coding
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Proficient in Go or another statically typed backend language
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes or a similar container orchestration platform
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL or another relational database, including ANSI SQL writing skills
