Engineering Manager, Member Experience

Job Summary

Leading the Member Experience server team, the full-time Engineering Manager will manage, mentor, and grow engineers while overseeing the development of scalable services and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of server engineers, fostering a high-performance culture
• Contribute to the codebase and provide technical leadership across architecture and engineering decisions
• Partner with product, design, and data teams to define and deliver high-impact features from concept to launch

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field, or equivalent industry experience
• 2+ years of experience managing high-performing engineering teams
• Deep knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript, with familiarity in cloud architecture and distributed systems
• Production experience with Apple StoreKit and Stripe payments for B2C products
• Experience in leading projects from concept through launch, balancing speed and quality
