Engineering Manager, NOC Automation

Job Summary

Leading a team of software engineers, the full-time Engineering Manager, NOC Automation will develop and manage internal applications that enhance Network Operations Center workflows, focusing on automation and integration across cloud environments in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of software engineers while setting priorities and managing performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to design and deliver scalable internal applications and workflow tools
• Identify and implement automation solutions to improve operational workflows and reduce manual effort

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of software and/or infrastructure engineering experience in production environments
• 2+ years of people management experience leading software engineers
• Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript, with experience in Node.js and React
• Experience building software in both private cloud and public cloud environments
