Engineering Manager, Payments

Job Summary

Leading engineering teams in a remote capacity, the full-time Engineering Manager, Payments will oversee the development and operation of critical payments systems, ensuring high-quality outcomes while managing complex technical challenges and fostering a culture of excellence.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior leaders to define and execute long-term technical strategies and architecture
• Establish a technical vision and lead the design, development, and launch of scalable payment solutions
• Empower team members to take on leadership roles in technical initiatives and ensure a high-performing engineering culture

Required qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of experience managing engineering teams and 9+ years in software development
• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Proven expertise in building large-scale backend systems and user-facing features
• Experience leading significant initiatives with substantial business impact
• Strong commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within teams
