Job Summary
To lead the development of an enterprise governance layer for agentic AI, the full-time Engineering Manager, Policy Systems will build and manage a senior engineering team, oversee execution from architecture to deployment, and drive cross-organizational partnerships in a remote or onsite setting.
Key responsibilities
- Build and lead a team focused on policy and authorization platforms, ensuring a high engineering standard and inclusive culture
- Own delivery and execution by transforming reference architecture into actionable plans while managing dependencies and risks
- Drive collaboration across various teams to establish shared interfaces and facilitate the team's commitments and dependencies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with 10+ years in software engineering and 3+ years in engineering leadership
- Proven experience in building and leading teams delivering security, infrastructure, or distributed-systems software
- Strong technical judgment in security engineering, authorization, or policy systems
- Cross-functional leadership experience, aligning multiple stakeholders to turn architecture into delivered software
- Effective communication skills with executives, partners, and engineers
