Engineering Manager, Public Sector

Job Summary

Engineering Manager, Public Sector, is a full-time position responsible for leading a team of engineers to design, build, and deliver software solutions, particularly focusing on mobile and integration work within the public sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team in developing ATAK plugins for data synchronization in tactical environments
• Set the technical direction for Android applications ensuring reliable operation in low-bandwidth conditions
• Drive integration architecture between the platform and the TAK ecosystem, defining data contracts and synchronization patterns

Required Qualifications

• Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance; U.S. Citizenship required
• 7+ years of engineering experience in building and maintaining production applications
• 2+ years of engineering management experience, including hiring and coaching engineers
• Experience with ATAK plugins and familiarity with the TAK ecosystem
• Strong integration design skills, including defining API contracts and data synchronization patterns
