Job Summary

The full-time Engineering Manager (Red Team) will lead the engineering efforts to enhance the safety and security of advanced AI systems, managing a growing team and developing innovative tools and systems, all within a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and scale red-teaming tools and systems to improve the effectiveness of AI safety evaluations
• Manage and mentor a high-performing engineering team, ensuring quality and rapid growth
• Contribute to the technical strategy and collaborate with frontier labs and governments on red-teaming initiatives

Required qualifications

• Strong background in software engineering, AI, or cybersecurity
• Proven experience in managing and leading technical teams
• Familiarity with relevant technologies such as Python, LLM APIs, and cloud infrastructure
