Job Summary

Leading the Authentication, Authorization, and Access Control (AAA) team, the full-time salaried Engineering Manager, Remote will manage a group of software engineers to develop and enhance ActBlue's unified authentication framework, ensuring secure and seamless user experiences while fostering team growth and collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead software engineers in building and modernizing the authentication and authorization framework for ActBlue's product suite
• Support the professional development of team members through feedback, goal-setting, and performance reviews
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align roadmaps with strategic organizational goals and ensure timely delivery of projects

Required qualifications

• 3-5+ years of people management experience with a focus on team performance and development
• Experience in building user-centric engineering products and delivering value through MVPs and frequent deployments
• Strong understanding of agile software development practices and project management
• Proven ability to build trust and consensus across teams and stakeholders
• Demonstrated commitment to inclusion and fostering a sense of belonging within teams
