Engineering Manager, Security

Job Summary

Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Engineering Manager, Security will drive the strategy and execution of identity and access management systems, ensuring secure access across products while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote-friendly environment.

Key responsibilities

• Grow and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a strong culture focused on security and reliability
• Define the roadmap and technical vision for authentication and authorization capabilities
• Lead the development of centralized identity and access services to enhance developer enablement

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience leading software engineering teams with a history of delivering complex initiatives
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure system design
• 8+ years of experience building and operating scalable distributed systems
• Demonstrated ability to partner with product and engineering teams to balance customer needs and technical excellence
• Proven judgment in leading through ambiguity and making tradeoffs between security and delivery velocity
