Engineering Manager - Security

Job Summary

Leading a team of engineers, the full-time Engineering Manager - Security will build and operate secure distributed systems for secrets and key management while working in a hybrid environment across various North American locations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the design and operation of secure and resilient systems for secrets management and internal PKI
• Organize and plan the team's long-term roadmap and daily activities, ensuring quality and security in technical designs
• Support team growth and career development, managing performance and delegating tasks as needed

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in team leadership and management within an engineering context
• Expertise in software development and distributed systems design
• Strong background in security implementation, particularly in infrastructure engineering
• Familiarity with cryptography and working with cryptosystems at a fundamental level
• Experience with Linux/UNIX system administration and knowledge of programming languages such as Go and/or Python
