Engineering Manager, Security

Job Summary

Leading the technical direction for Security Product Engineering, the full-time remote Engineering Manager, Security will manage teams focused on proactive security controls, vulnerability management, and bug bounty programs while collaborating cross-functionally to enhance security across DoorDash's delivery network.

Key responsibilities

• Set and execute the technical vision for Security Product Engineering Pods and related teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Coach and mentor engineers to address security challenges while developing proactive security controls
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement security measures and manage bug bounty and vulnerability management programs

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience as a Security Product Engineer with 3+ years of technical leadership
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Security Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Demonstrated leadership in designing security controls for regulatory compliance
• Experience in developing scalable, AI-enabled security processes
• Strong analytical skills with a background in root cause analysis for security incidents
