Engineering Manager, Security

Job Summary

To set and lead the technical direction for platform hardening, the full-time remote Engineering Manager, Security will manage the Security Engineering Platform team, focusing on AWS and GCP account hardening, and ensuring a secure delivery network for global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Set and execute the technical vision for the Security Engineering Platform team, including hardening cloud infrastructure and access services
• Coach and mentor tech leads and engineers while driving improvements to engineering standards and operational excellence practices
• Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance shared cloud and access security controls, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Security or Infrastructure Platform Engineering, with 3+ years in a technical leadership role
• Deep expertise in hardening AWS and/or GCP environments at scale, including access and secrets management
• Experience building and maintaining highly available platform services with mature on-call practices
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Security Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Proven track record of designing scalable security platform controls that meet regulatory requirements
