Engineering Manager, Software Platform

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Manager, Software Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of 5 to 8 software engineers across internal applications and platform services
• Own the technical direction and architectural health of software platform systems
• Collaborate with Product Management to create technical roadmaps and ensure operational outcomes

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing software engineering teams
• 9+ years of total experience in software engineering roles
• Strong foundation in software engineering fundamentals, including system design and distributed systems
• Experience with Kotlin/JVM backend services and event-driven architectures
• Familiarity with cloud-native systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
