Job Summary

Engineering Manager, Tax, is a full-time position responsible for leading a growing engineering team focused on developing and maintaining a tax engine, ensuring high accuracy and industry standards while collaborating with tax experts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the engineering team, conducting performance reviews and hiring as necessary
• Own the tax engine roadmap, prioritizing development tasks in partnership with product management and tax leads
• Build and maintain the systems that support the tax engine's growth and accuracy

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an engineering manager, leading teams of 5 or more
• Hands-on technical background in complex domains, with experience in system architecture
• Proven ability to bridge engineering and non-engineering domains effectively
• Strong operational excellence with experience in setting and tracking team metrics
• Familiarity with AI tools and their application in engineering processes
