Job Summary
Leading a team focused on enhancing developer productivity, the full-time remote Engineering Manager - Tooling will manage initiatives related to Continuous Delivery, CI/CD platforms, and internal developer workflows, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve software delivery processes.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) focused on Developer Experience and Engineering Productivity
- Drive the evolution of Continuous Delivery platforms, deployment automation, and release workflows
- Partner with Engineering leadership to define the long-term vision for developer tooling across the organization
Required qualifications
- 3-5+ years managing software engineering teams
- 7+ years building and operating production software systems
- Experience designing and operating CI/CD systems and modern software delivery pipelines
- Experience with cloud-native platforms such as Kubernetes and AWS
- Proven track record of improving engineering productivity through automation
