Engineering People Lead

Job Summary

To support and empower engineering teams in a fully remote environment, the full-time Engineering People Lead will build relationships, facilitate meetings, and manage performance while navigating sensitive situations across a multicultural workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong, trusting relationships with engineers across multiple time zones and cultures
• Lead effective one-on-one and team meetings, ensuring follow-up actions are documented and addressed
• Drive the full performance management cycle, guiding teams through development planning and providing constructive feedback

Required qualifications

• Experience in performance management, coaching, and delivering actionable feedback
• Strong multitasking abilities, capable of running meetings while capturing insights
• Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to handle tough conversations
• Ability to work effectively with a globally dispersed team across diverse cultures
• Experience in a tech or open-source environment is a plus
