Engineering Program Manager
Job Summary
To drive high-impact data operations programs within a fast-growing Human-Centered AI team, the contract Engineering Program Manager (EPM) will lead complex projects, collaborate with engineering and data teams, and influence technical direction while working remotely during Pacific Time hours.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end execution of complex programs for HAI Data Operations, including roadmap development and risk management
- Drive improvements and scaling of data management and operational tooling to support AI/ML development
- Communicate program status, risks, and decisions effectively to technical teams and leadership
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related technical discipline
- 5+ years in engineering or technical program management within complex engineering organizations
- Hands-on experience managing data platforms and large-scale data processing systems
- Strong technical fluency in system architecture, data pipelines, and engineering tradeoffs
- Familiarity with software development concepts and languages such as Python or Java
