Engineering Project Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing engineering team, the full-time Engineering Project and QA Manager will manage project organization, ensure quality testing, and facilitate communication between engineers and internal teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Keep engineering projects organized by tracking progress, identifying blockages, and clarifying next steps
• Own quality assurance by testing builds, automating repetitive tasks with AI, and writing Capybara tests as needed
• Manage the bug pipeline by reproducing issues, prioritizing them, and confirming fixes with the appropriate engineers

Required qualifications

• 4+ years in a project management, delivery, or QA role, preferably on a small engineering team
• Technical proficiency to work closely with engineers, including bug reproduction and test case writing
• Hands-on QA experience managing testing and bug pipelines, whether manual or automated
• Familiarity with AI tools for automating tasks
• Ability to exercise good judgment in adding or omitting processes based on team needs
