Engineering Records GIS Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Records & GIS Analyst to support gas transmission operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed reviews of engineering documents and drawings to identify and validate stopples
• Analyze GIS data to locate undocumented or assumed stopples and cross-reference findings with engineering records
• Collaborate with engineers and GIS specialists to capture investigative methods and support future scaling initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience reviewing engineering drawings and as-built documentation in pipeline or industrial environments
• Proven ability to navigate and interpret engineering records management systems
• Familiarity with GIS concepts and spatial analysis
• Comfort working with incomplete or historical datasets
• Experience as an engineering technologist or records analyst is preferred
