Job Summary

Leading a team of approximately six software engineers, the full-time Engineering Team Lead - K8s Operator will drive the development of Kubernetes Operators in Go, focusing on automating the deployment and operation of the Dynatrace platform across various infrastructures while mentoring team members and managing project execution remotely from Switzerland.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the development and delivery of Kubernetes Operators, ensuring alignment with team goals and project timelines
• Mentor and support the professional growth of team members, driving career development and compensation planning
• Manage hiring processes and team scaling to meet project demands and enhance team capabilities

Required qualifications

• Several years of hands-on software engineering experience, preferably in Kubernetes or cloud-native environments
• Proven leadership experience with a focus on mentoring and developing engineering talent
• Strong delivery mindset with the ability to resolve ambiguity and maintain project momentum
• Clear communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, peers, and leadership
• Familiarity with AI-assisted developer tooling and a commitment to integrating AI practices into workflows
