Leading a new engineering team remotely, the full-time Engineering Team Lead will engage in hands-on coding and architectural planning while managing team growth and product delivery for a new enterprise product line on the Fuelfinance AI finance platform.
Key responsibilities
- Lead a small engineering team, balancing hands-on coding with architecture and planning responsibilities
- Own the product line architecture, making design decisions and aligning them with the core platform
- Be accountable for delivery outcomes, ensuring quality and timely shipping of features
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role
- Experience building products or systems from scratch and taking them to production
- Proficiency in AI-assisted development and both frontend and backend technologies (TypeScript, Node.js, React)
- Strong system design skills with a focus on scale, security, and maintainability
- B2/C1 English proficiency and comfort with a fast-paced startup environment
