Engineering Team Leader

Job Summary

To lead a small product team of engineers, the full-time Engineering Team Leader will manage team dynamics, participate in product development, and oversee hiring and onboarding processes, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Managing a small product team of 3-5 engineers and participating in product development
• Overseeing hiring and onboarding processes for new engineers while providing continuous feedback and coaching
• Redesigning engineering workflows to enhance efficiency and deliver outcomes faster

Required qualifications

• Experience managing an engineering team of at least 2 people
• Extensive knowledge of backend technologies such as Elixir/Phoenix or Ruby
• Strong engineering fundamentals with a track record of deploying secure and scalable production systems
• Practical experience in designing or adopting automation workflows
• Demonstrated capabilities in automation and AI fluency
