Engineering Tech Lead
Job Summary
Owning the architecture of a new AI-accelerated migration platform, the fully remote Engineering Tech Lead will manage the entire migration pipeline, including data extraction, transformation, and orchestration, while leading a focused team through design and implementation.
Key responsibilities
- Own the technical design and architecture across the full migration pipeline
- Translate technical strategy into actionable platform increments and build repeatable go-live patterns
- Collaborate with a technical product manager to shape problems into buildable work and maintain high engineering standards
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience building data-intensive backend systems with a focus on architecture leadership
- Proven ability to reverse engineer application systems through forensic analysis of data structures
- Deep experience in building reliable data pipelines and ETL/ELT systems at scale
- Hands-on expertise with modern data stacks, including SQL and cloud orchestration tools
- Strong bias for correctness and observability in data quality and lineage
