Engineering Technical Director

Job Summary

Leading engineering analysis projects, the full-time Engineering Technical Director - Fuel & Services will oversee Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) fuel and safety services, facilitating collaboration among engineering teams, product line leaders, and regulatory affairs in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage engineering analysis projects and provide oversight of development and delivery activities
• Interface with engineering and project management teams to address complex technical issues and ensure successful project execution
• Develop future-ready solutions and mentor engineering staff to enhance capabilities and knowledge sharing

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or 4 years of hands-on experience in the nuclear industry
• Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience, including 5 years in the nuclear industry or project delivery
• Strong knowledge of nuclear energy principles and engineering methodologies
• Experience with BWR core simulation and thermal-hydraulic systems codes
• Ability to manage complex projects and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
