Engineering Technician - T&D
Job Summary
Supporting the Transmission & Distribution group, the full-time Engineering Technician - T&D will provide technical drafting support, create drawings in Microstation and AutoCAD, and assist in design projects under supervision while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Create technical drawings and designs for Transmission & Distribution projects using Microstation and AutoCAD
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure project requirements are met and tasks are completed on schedule
- Utilize various software tools, including PLS-CADD and GIS, to enhance drafting and design processes
Required qualifications
- Two-year technical degree or current enrollment in Technical Drafting program
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; knowledge of Microstation is a plus
- Familiarity with Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D modeling software is advantageous
- Experience in Transmission & Distribution design and drafting is beneficial
