Engineering Vice President

Job Summary

As the first VP of Engineering, this full-time role will manage engineering operations at Tiny Health, overseeing technical direction, architecture, and team development while collaborating closely with product and executive leadership in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Become the terminal owner of engineering, resolving technical and people decisions effectively
• Build an engineering performance system that measures individual impact and fosters growth
• Represent engineering at executive tables, ensuring alignment with business and product leaders

Required qualifications

• Direct experience managing and leading engineering teams, including conducting 1:1s and performance evaluations
• Hands-on experience in coding and system development, not solely a people leader
• Ability to engage with senior engineers on architecture and scaling tradeoffs
• Experience serving as the sole engineering voice among business and product leaders
• Track record of developing engineers into senior or lead roles
