Job Summary

Bringing precise language judgment to multimodal AI systems, the part-time contract English Language Specialist will evaluate AI-generated outputs, document errors, and create nuanced annotations in fluent English while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Compare and evaluate subtle differences between AI-generated images and outputs
• Document errors in image outputs or annotations and annotate video content
• Write clear, precise annotations following detailed guidelines with strict formatting rules

Required qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in editing, technical writing, translation, journalism, data annotation, or similar language-driven work
• Fluent in polished English with excellent grammar and an eye for detail
• Comfortable following long, sometimes ambiguous guidelines and making sound judgment calls
• Prior exposure to AI/ML annotation or evaluation work is a plus
• Enjoys deep-focus, detail-heavy problem-solving
