Enrolled Actuary
Job Summary
To support a growing financial services firm, the fully remote Enrolled Actuary will manage a caseload of Defined Benefit and Cash Balance plans, ensuring compliance with IRS regulations and performing annual non-discrimination testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently review and manage 150+ Defined Benefit/Cash Balance Plans in accordance with IRS laws and regulations
- Certify contribution and asset amounts for AFTAP and prepare annual FASB reports
- Lead retirement plan consulting projects and represent clients in audits with IRS, PBGC, and DOL
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as an Enrolled Actuary
- Strong knowledge of non-discrimination testing including 415 limit, 410(b), and 401(a)(4)
- Familiarity with ASC 715 and other FASB requirements
- Ability to utilize CRM software (Pension Pal) and administration systems (Datair preferred)
- Membership in at least one actuarial society is preferred
