Enrolled Actuary - Retirement Plans

Job Summary

Assisting the sales team with the design and communication of technical ERISA aspects of Cash Balance and Defined Benefit plans, the full-time remote Enrolled Actuary - Retirement Plans will manage client portfolios, produce projections for new business proposals, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize analytical software to design retirement plans that meet client objectives while adhering to ERISA regulations
• Identify and implement necessary changes to plan documents based on client needs and requests
• Coordinate annual reporting requirements and assist with compliance testing for retirement plans

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience as an enrolled actuary in Active Status
• 10+ years of experience in complex defined contribution plan administration
• Membership in professional actuarial organizations such as the American Academy of Actuaries or Society of Actuaries
• Possession of ASPPA's MSEA certification or equivalent
• Ability to perform retirement plan compliance testing and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
