Enrollment Counselor

Job Summary

To support the College of Adult and Graduate Studies, the full-time remote Enrollment Counselor will guide prospective adult students through the admissions process, utilizing sales techniques and relationship-building skills to achieve enrollment goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one admissions counseling to prospective students, answering questions and addressing their educational needs
• Utilize proven marketing and inside sales techniques to attract students to the university's online programs
• Regularly monitor and report on enrollment activities, ensuring alignment with individual and departmental goals

Required qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in college/university admissions, sales, or a related field; a bachelor's degree is preferred
• Ability to work daily from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM Mountain Time, including a Saturday shift on a rotating schedule
• Demonstrated success in achieving enrollment goals and experience with inbound/outbound tele-sales
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with admissions software and contact management systems
• Strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also functioning independently
