Enrollment Data Scientist

Job Summary

Passionate about higher education, the remote Enrollment Data Scientist will conduct data analysis and build predictive models to support enrollment and financial aid leaders at educational institutions in meeting their enrollment targets.

Key responsibilities

• Design predictive models to identify factors influencing student application, enrollment, and retention
• Refine and ensure the quality of data files to effectively answer research questions
• Present analytical findings to clients through various formats, including reports and presentations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or a related field; master's degree preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in an analytical role within higher education or related organizations
• Proficiency in quantitative statistics packages, with a strong preference for R
• Experience with multivariate regression and classification techniques, including machine learning algorithms
• Strong interest in education and quantitative research methodologies
