Ensemble Integration Engineer
Job Summary
To support healthcare analytics initiatives, the contract Ensemble Integration Engineer will design, develop, and maintain clinical data integration workflows using InterSystems Ensemble, managing real-time and batch message flows while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain clinical integration workflows and message routing pipelines in InterSystems Ensemble for HL7 ORU, ADT, and CCDA messages
- Develop ObjectScript code for custom message transformations and manage Master Patient Index (MPI) lookups for incoming clinical messages
- Monitor integration processes, manage incidents, and ensure HIPAA compliance in handling PHI data throughout all integration pipelines
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 5-8 years of experience with InterSystems Ensemble and HL7 v2.x message standards
- Strong ObjectScript programming skills and experience with CCDA/CDA XML processing
- Experience integrating with EMPI/MPI systems via SOAP web services
- Solid understanding of clinical integration patterns and familiarity with ETL integration patterns
