Job Summary

Leading architectural decisions, the full-time salaried Enterprise Architect will chair the Architecture Board, oversee the Architecture Decision Record process, and set target-state architecture for foundational platform programs, while working in a hybrid environment from Boston or remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Chair the Architecture Board and manage the decision register for open architecture decisions
• Run the Architecture Decision Record gate for workstreams prior to build
• Establish and maintain architecture authority over foundational platform programs, ensuring alignment between legacy and new platforms

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on platform transformation or re-platforming at scale
• Proven experience making and defending decisions on event-driven architecture and service decomposition
• Strong written communication skills, capable of producing clear Architecture Decision Records and assessments
• Hands-on experience with design and technical documentation, earning respect from senior engineers
• Demonstrated ability to operate through influence and establish architecture authority in an organization
